About Nonella Racing   

Nonella Racing started in 1998 by Ralph Nonella with discussions of 2 stroke vs. 4 stroke and how fast a 2 stroke can really go. Ralph's past experiences with RD350's and flat tracks drove him to see what it would take to get a world's speed record.

For the past several years we've been working hard on our RD400 project, and we were fortunate enough to meet our first goal; debuting the bike at Bonneville in 2002, we completed 3 runs with progressive gains in speed. Our times were 130.393, 140.533, and 141.612. Our rider for the premier season was Josh Hageman, who was also Ralph's right-hand person in the areas of design and fabrication.
